The first step in the Fountain of Knowledge programme is an individualized assessment.
The assessment is based on a series of age applicable tests which are given to the child on a one to one basis.
Each child is given up to four tests which measures the child’s level of understanding in comprehension spelling decoding and maths.
The results of each test is carefully scored and marked and compared to the standardised marking sheets to give an accurate performance level by the child.
These scores are used to show your child’s strengths and weaknesses and form the bases for the child’s individual learning programme.
Discussion with Parents
After the results of all tests are know the assessor will meet with the parent / parents to discuss the results of each individual test.
The child’s strengths and weakness are relayed to the parents and based on the child’s results the needs of the child are pinpointed.
At this stage the individual recommended programme is set out.
